• October 1: HTET 2020 is going to be conducted in November 2020. Two days have been finalized for the exams, November 21 and November 22.
• September 29: The government of Haryana has extended the validity of Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) and State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) certificate to 7 years. Earlier, the validity of these exams was 5 years.

HTET 2020 Eligibility

To become eligible to apply for HTET 2020, candidates must possess the following eligibility criteria:

Educational qualification:

• Primary Teacher (Level 1 - Class 1 to 5): 12^th pass along with Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed)
• Trained Graduate Teacher (Level 2 - Class 6 to 8): Bachelor’s Degree along with B.Ed
• Post Graduate Teacher (Level 3 – Above Class 8): Master’s Degree along with B.Ed

Age: Candidates from 18 years to 38 years of age can apply for HTET 2020.
