Barr. Balasaheb Khardekar Knowledge Resource Center (BBKKRC) is in need of ‘Trainee Library Assistant’ for automation, plagiarism check, development of institutional repository, management of RCIE Center and E-content work of library purely on temporary basis for a period of 11 months. The details of the post are as mentioned below:
1. Name of the Post: Trainee Library Assistant

3. Essential Qualification: Any Graduate, Pass out M.Lib. and Inf. Sci. Course
4. Desirable Qualification: Fair Computer Knowledge (MS-CIT/Certificate/Diploma in Computer), Two years of work experience in academic library
5. Period: 11 Months only
6. Nature of Payment : Salary of Per Day (Consolidated) Rs. 400/-
7. Nature of Work: Computerization (Automation), plagiarism check, institutional repository, management of RCIE Center, E-content and any library related work.
Age: Open category-38 years, Reserved category-43 years.

Selection Procedure for SUK Trainee Library Assistant vacancy 2020

1. Candidate already worked at any department of Shivaji University on temporary/daily wages basis need not to apply.
2. However such candidates completing their services at Shivaji University and thereafter completed 11 months gap can apply for the said post. Interview of only eligible candidates will be taken and the selection committee decision in this regard is final.
3. The candidates have to attend the interview at their own cost along with their detailed Bio-data and attested documents of Degree/Diploma/Course Certificates (original and 1 set Xerox).
