Degree or equivalent Diploma in Library Science of a recognized Institution or University. Desirable: Master’s Degree in Library Science Training in Medical Librarianship

Holding analogous posts on regular basis, Or With at least 5 years regular service in the grade pay of Rs. 5400/- (Pay level 10 as per 7th CPC) in the relevant field, Or With at least 6 years regular service in the grade pay of Rs. 4800/- (Pay level 8 as per 7th CPC) in the relevant field, Or With at least 7 years regular service in the grade pay of Rs. 4600/- (Pay level 7 as per 7th CPC) in the relevant field.
