Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s Degree in Library Science, Information Science, or Documentation Science with at least 55% marks.
- Good academic record and knowledge of library computerization.
- NET/SLET/SET qualification OR Ph.D. (as per UGC 2009/2016 regulations with applicable exemptions).
Exemptions
- NET/SLET/SET not required for Ph.D. holders as per UGC 2009/2016 regulations (with conditions fulfilled).
- NET/SLET/SET not required in subjects where the examination is not conducted.

- Certificate course in Library Science from a recognized Institution.
- One year experience in a University/College Library.
- Basic knowledge of computer applications.

- Skill Test (Practical test on Classification, Cataloguing, and Library Science basics)
